Plot:

Theme of Call of Duty – I was similar to “Medal of Honor” another famous World War theme video game. But the major difference was that in Call of Duty – I, you play not only as American Soldier but also as British and Soviet soldier. The game is divided in three campaigns, first as an American Soldier, second as a British Soldier and third as a Soviet Soldier. In each campaign player has to complete certain missions. Different campaigns have different main characters like Pvt. Joey Martin in American campaign, Sgt. Jack Evans in British campaign, and Pvt. Alexei Ivanovich Voronin in Soviet campaign. At some places gameplay is inspired by famous movies such as “Band of Brothers”, “The Longest Day” and “Enemy at the Gates”.

Thumbs Up:

Call of Duty – I is one the best first person shooter based on World War theme. Players are presented with great opportunity to play as American, British and Soviet soldiers. Great weapons of that era are available with different modes of firing. Storyline of game is really impressive that holds you and intense missions in game are very interesting. Game also features a special effect “Shellshock” in which the vision of player gets blurred and time and speed of players slows down when he comes in effect of any explosion. In addition to this multiplayer game options are also available. There are six multiplayer game modes are available. Multiplayer game has a feature called “Killcam” in which defeated player can see the last 5 seconds of gameplay through the eyes of opponent. Game saving options is also very favorable for users.

Although Call of Duty – I is a great game, it has some negative points also. Players cannot sprint in gameplay. Movement in standing position is constant so it causes some problems in underfire area. At some places animation is not up to the mark. You will also find some clipping issues at some places.
